宁可信其有，不可信其无

do you believe in superstition?

Things has been happening that I'm starting to think that certain things actually doesn't have to happen for a reason. They just do... and when you can't explain them logically, you think otherwise.

you'll start thinking that it is probably caused by the unexplainable supernatural forces.

I don't know how much one will buy into these explanation, but... in this instance, I choose to believe.

I guess, as long as it does no harm or doesn't discredit you in any significant manner. Sometimes, it's better to believe than to remain skeptical of it. It also allows us to believe that there are people watching over us, and what we do (or not) whether deliberate or unintentional, someone is listening or watching. In a way, you are conscious of your own actions and may even help some people develop conscience and think before they do what they are about to do.
